SMAS (Sperm Motility Analysis System ) can measure the number of sperms and movement(which is a major factor for infertility)concisely and accurately by using a CCD camera and an advanced software algorithm.
Discriminate between motile sperm and immotile sperm.
Measurement the total amount, concentration, motility average, precisely in a short period.
Recently, sperm's form and motility is known to be the most important cause for fertility problems.

1,000 sperms can be measured at a time.
The result data and trajectory will be saved automatically.
Original image or dynamic image of tracking can be saved as necessary.
Displaying analyzed result based on standard measurement of WHO is possible.
Multi-color trajectories can be displayed.
Function of Sperm Motility Analysis system
Measurement
Easily-handled interface. Just set the microscope image to the same brightness as the guide image and push the button. The result will be displayed in a few second.
It will sort out motile sperm by using our own algorithm. In point of motile sperm, it will track up to 1,000 sperms one by one per about a second.
Up to 5 fields can be measured for one specimen.
Result
- You can check the result on a monitor immediately.
You can also display numeric data . - Seeing is believing, measured image is able to playback immediately. It marks a cross on immobile sperm and a 16-color trajectory animation for motile sperms.
- Recalculation is possible by changing the configuration parameters .
Analyze and chart
- Such as total amount of the sperms number of motile sperms number of immotile sperms, sperm concentration, linear velocity, curvilinear velocity, head amplitude, head frequency can be calculated by each sperm's result data.
- The result chart can be displayed according to 10 ranks.
- You may also display based on standard measurement of WHO.
- Variability between each measurement field inside the chamber will be alleviated by using the average value of the field.
Report
- Measurement and analysis result is printable as a report.
- You may choose the print entry what to need from 30 items such as name,age,and conditions.
- One picture of trajectory animation and two result charts, numeric data of average and each field will be layout on A4 form.
